Here is Barack Obama addressing Obamacare in a January 12, 2010 article about Harry Reid in the New York Times Magazine, by Adam Nagourney. No doubt he didn’t think these words would come back to haunt him, but here we are, and they should.

“Well, if you’ve got insurance companies spending hundreds of millions of dollars scaring the daylights out of people into thinking that somehow this is a government takeover of health care, that it’s unpaid for, that it means huge new taxes on them, that it’s going to mean higher premiums — if that’s the information you’re getting, shoot, I’d be against it, too,” the president told me. <source>

I have never sent out an afternoon edition – this is my first – which should prove that it’s important.

 

 

Yes, Conservatism is calling – screaming really.

This afternoon I watched the movie Agenda: Grinding America Down. Here is the link: http://vimeo.com/52009124

I have to confess I was shaken by the movie. Not because I did not know the information, but because I did not see the full potential/damage of the ‘Agenda’ in its full scope.

It is my greatest wish that you take the time to watch it.

There comes a point in life where we must take stock of our ‘environment’.

Our children are/have been co-opted to believe ‘isms’ are what matters most;

Our youngsters/teens/young adults have been indoctrinated into the ‘new normal’;

Our adults have been shamed into believing that being PC and fighting for the ‘isms’ is the correct American path to…

Should public service employees be immune from the suffering of those in the private sector?

In these times of high unemployment in the private sector should public service employees be immune thereby exacerbating the suffering of private sector employees? Government can only pay employees from monies taken from those in the private sector. Should these employees be a golden cow to politicians who lack the spine to do what is right?
